With National Volunteer Week just past, Outback Spirit Foundation is fortunate to have such a great business community of peers and friends who have kindly volunteered to spread the word on social media for the Foundation’s upcoming crowdfunding campaign www.outbackspirit.net.
The campaign to raise $60K over seven days starts this Sunday 21 May through to 28 May, to help empower more Aboriginal bushfood enterprises through the Outback Spirit Foundation programs.
Indigenous people may otherwise miss out on enterprising opportunities to be key players in the Native Australian bushfoods industry without the right start-up help and advice.
Native foods, like the bush tomato and Kakadu plum, are becoming increasingly popular as ingredients and condiments for everyday meals. Outback Spirit Foundation, through community donations and grants, is able to help more Indigenous enterprises and farmers develop their ideas and businesses in an authentic Australian bushfood supply chain.
